Off to a flying start, we tracked some guitar, vocals and piano today.
Nashville is such a chilled place, it's a great community, the weather here is truly awesome! Summer sunsets and a clear night sky.. So it's pretty easy to record and create.
We have a special guest on the record to which i'm really excited about..

About to head in and record my first session..
pretty lazy day today, been just reading and chilling out, the sun is shining.
Heading over to my friend Gary Clark's house tonight, to put down some vocals on the new song called "stranded."
Then tomorrow getting up early and heading to Nashville, where i begin my sessions on Wednesday.
It's really exciting now, the record as been a long process of working out where i am at creatively and coming out the other end from such instant success after 12 or so years of being a singer-songwriter on the sydney scene, i had to go off and digest it in my own time to know where i was at. The whole time i've been writing and exploring the world. This record is going to be the most honest album i've recorded lyrically and musically. There's going to be no stone unturned emotionally, i wear my heart on my sleve and i like it that way..it's due for release in Feb next year..

whole foods in america
As much as i love mexican food, whole foods saves your life here, most generic american food is pretty bad for you and you feel shit eating crap food all the time.
In australia we are so lucky with what we have , our fresh produce can't be beaten.
Whole foods on the other hand i have just discovered, even though i've been to america a bunch of times, i'm slow on the uptake i guess..

Hey guys
Just arrived in LA, ready to start working on the recording process on my up and coming album.
I'm heading to Nashville in a few days, and really looking forward to getting to work in the studio.
The jetlag has worn off and i'm feeling human again.
I'm off to catch some Cali sun.
